How we work
Who writes. Khyrat Hussain builds HisaabKit's calculators and writes its guides. Waseem Shehzad writes updates on government notifications, pay and pension orders. Deeba Tahir supports coordination and checks that study and reference material is clear and easy to follow.
Reviewed before publishing. Calculations and guides are reviewed by Khyrat Hussain before they are published. Worked examples are checked by hand against the calculator.
Official sources. Calculators and guides are built from official notifications, rules and Finance Department instructions, and their main sources are cited on the page. Each update is checked against the official notification it reports, with the original document linked where available. Where a rule is unclear or not yet officially published, we say so instead of guessing.
Kept up to date. When a rule or rate changes, the affected calculators and guides are updated and the "Updated" date on the page is changed.
Corrections. Errors can be reported through the Contact page. Each report is reviewed against official documents, and confirmed errors are corrected under our Editorial & Accuracy Policy.
Independent. HisaabKit is an independent platform and not an official government website. Every tool is free to use.
