Our purpose
Making Pakistan’s financial and government rules easier to calculate, understand and verify.
Complicated rules, rates and public information are easier to use when a practical estimate is connected to an understandable explanation and the source behind it. HisaabKit brings these together without replacing official advice or decisions.
Why HisaabKit was started
HisaabKit was started by Khyrat Hussain, who has served in the Punjab Government's School Education Department since 2012. Alongside teaching, he has handled finance and accounts matters, drafted official letters and notifications, and prepared parawise comments for courts and administrative authorities. That work showed how often employees and pensioners struggle to work out their pay, pension and dues, or to find the notification that applies to them. HisaabKit was built so that anyone can calculate these figures themselves, see how the result was reached, and check the official source.

Who HisaabKit serves
Government employees, pensioners, taxpayers and people researching supported Pakistan financial and government rules can use the tools and information for practical understanding and planning.
How information is maintained
Rules and rates are reviewed against relevant source material where available. Calculators explain important assumptions and limitations; Guides provide context and examples, Updates cover relevant developments, and Resources connect readers with supporting documents. Content is revised as verified information changes, but completeness and accuracy are not guaranteed.
Each calculator is built from the notification, rule or Finance Department instruction behind it, and that source is cited on the page. Worked examples are checked by hand against the calculator before publication. When a rule changes or an error is found, the calculator, its PDF and the related guides are updated together, and the page's "Last reviewed" or "Updated" date is changed.
For example, in October 2026 the pension calculators were reviewed against official sources, including the AG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa online pension calculator and the Punjab Finance Department clarification of 30 May 2025. Several rules were corrected as a result (for example, commutation is now worked out at age next birthday), and the related guides were updated the same week.
How HisaabKit is funded
HisaabKit is free to use and is not run to make money from its users: there are no fees or paid plans. The site may show advertising only to help cover hosting and development costs. Advertising never affects how a calculation works or what a guide says.

HisaabKit is an independent informational and tool platform, not an official website of the Government of Pakistan, FBR or any provincial department. Verify financial, tax, pension, service and employment decisions with the relevant authority and applicable official documents.
